Whether you’re into Valentine’s Day or not, this is for you.
Love is the feeling of affection we have towards the people we genuinely care about, the ones we cherish, we show interest in and enjoy spending time with. Love isn’t only affection towards others, it first and foremost should be applied to yourself, before you worry about loving others. There are plenty of articles on the internet explaining why that is important and why we should shed light on this matter, so I won’t go into that. However, inspired by Darling’s Touch’s Love yourself Valentine’s campaign, I chose to share with you the ways I take care of and love myself at this point, so you remember to always do the same.

I don’t ignore my feelings and emotions
For me, it is very important to understand my feelings and get to the bottom of why something is bothering me, understand it, accept it, and make peace with the worst case scenario so I move on the right way. This way I’ll know whatever it is that’s on my mind won’t come back and bite me!
I acknowledge my strengths and weaknesses
I embrace them and accept that I can’t be always right, flawless and that I can’t always do things perfectly no matter how hard I try.
I take care of my health
Well I try. Eat healthy (Still working on that) , exercise, and I try to surround myself with people who have a healthy lifestyle so it becomes easier for me to do so as well.
